How can I pass a value assigned to a variable from an html page to another one using Javascript?

You can use something like this
parent.frames[ "yourframe" ].yourmethod( data );
in the youeframe you can deal with the data passed from the other frame! Was this what you meant? Please reply if you still have doubts!
