wrapping option in select box

Anyway to wrap the text in the select box option?

I'd love to help, but I honestly have no idea what you are asking. Could you please explain in a bit more detail what you want to do?

Sure, basically, I have a select box in a search form, but since one of the options in that select box is more than 5 words, the select box is too wide. I am trying to find a way to wrap the text in the option. But everyone is saying so far that the only solution is to truncate the sentence (which the clients refuse to do).
Any help would be great.

I don't know if it would be too much of a pain, but you could write a simple JavaScript that expands the width of the menu when the user opens it. That way, you could show it with a reasonable width on your page, then use a script to make it longer when a user clicks on it. Of course, while the user had it open, your page might be ugly..
Just a thought.
