Is the parent form name known?? Is it generated?

basic idea can be something like this if known:
var PForm = opener.document.FormName;

Hi,
The parent window's form name is known. I want to retreive its name while I am in child window.

smitha,
I hate to say this but, your name does not comply with the Javaranch naming guidelines which can be found at http://www.javaranch.com/name.jsp
please register again with a valid name.
