Embedding Fonts in Web pages

Any idea how to embed fonts in a web page? I understand this is done through referencing the .eot files. How to create the .eot files?

Thanks for ur replies. I implemented it through the TrueDoc (.pfr) fonts.

What exactly did you do . I,am working on a similar thing . need to run the web page in the internet explorer.
