dear moderators of this forum (Jobs offered)
with due regards i want to suggest that it would be better if the date of the first post is also displayed or if not necessary the last post must be removed . coz if a person looking for a job loks for the new postings not the replies . and it also creates some confusion whether the job offer is still there or not .what if a person replies to a job offer posted one or two years back ? the person's reply comes on the top of the list but its not sure that even the company is existing till the day of last reply or not ! its a practicle problem . so even if the uniformity of the site is mainntained atleast the first date of the job offering should also be displayed .hope you all agree.
with regards.

I understand what you are saying.
Users have claimed that they appreciate having the new posts being on top and it does assist in a common look and feel.
I will look into it further.

dear Michael !
what i am speaking is also the user point of view ! have you seen recently coming on an offer from Dallas , greater Boston and the one posted by "Mark Varney " ! do you think all those who reply these old posts are getting replies ? and are al the old job offered worth showing on top with a view that they are helpful in keeping tracks of new java jobs posted or the most no of posts ? actually its the job seakers make it on the top of the list and not the person who has offered the job !with other topics like "certification Results " etc its o.k.but dont you think it doesn't give you any clear picture of when the job was posted and on the other hand due the same reason keeping the server busy unnecessarily maintainance of the replies to the old jobs which are of no use !
regards .

All we could do is change the header to ask job posters to include the post date in the topic header. It would be up to them to post that way.

I will run it by the others and see if they see a problem with this.
