Hi,
I have the below Java code in the init() method of my applet:
JSObject mainWin = JSObject.getWindow(this);
JSObject doc = (JSObject) mainWin.getMember("document");
When I load this applet locally (from my computer) this code executes fine. But when I upload this code to a remote host and try to load the applet, I get netscape.javascript.JSException: Access is denied.
error.
I think this error is because the applet cannot access to the Javascript document object which it was launced from. And, I understand there is some kind of security issue, but I cannot figure out what? Do I need to sign the applet? Or make the site trusted on my IE?
Thanks.

This is awkward. I've grown a second evil head. I'm going to need a machete and a tiny ad ...
