POSITION SUMMARY Work as part of the core team building the asset management and publishing technologies for some of the biggest websites in the world. Responsibilities include design, implementation and maintenance of client and server based applications, code development, creation of project plan estimates, and production of detailed design documentation. Development environment requires adherence to engineering QA practices including configuration management, source control, unit testing, integration testing, and documentation of code.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR POSITION BS/BA degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience. 7 or more years experience in software development. Uses skills as a seasoned experienced professional with a full understanding of industry practices & company policies & procedures. Resolves a wide range of issues in imaginative and as well as practical ways. Have wide ranging experience, uses professional concepts and company objectives to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways. Work on complex issues where analysis of situation or data requires an in depth evaluation of variable factors.? SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED experience with Java technologies, XML, object-oriented analysis and design. Content Management and Publishing experience a plus Hands on software modeling experience and application of standard methodologies.
