Printing values to a printer through JSP/Servlet

Can anyone let me know how to print values to a dotmatrix printer from a jsp page.I am trying to generate barcodes from a jsp page by installing barcode font in the printer.

I don't think that's what he had in mind.
I'm going to assume that the printer in question is a client-side printer amd move this off to the HTML/Javascript forum since there is no JSP component to client-side printing.
