Technical Account Manager - Mountain View

Position based in Mountain View, CA.

Partner Services and Operations Team needs high-caliber Technical Account Managers to manage and expand both strategic and technical relationships with our global partners. Working with the best-of-the-best, world class organizations and Fortune 500 companies should be second nature. Your superior project and account management skills, excellent business judgment, and technical expertise will make Google partners successful. Your hard work and contributions will directly impact Google partner network success.

In-depth technical knowledge on a wide range of Google services and products is a first step of a successful Technical Account Manager. In addition, working closely with partner managers and sales directors on upsell strategies, helping drive new business opportunities, and maximizing the monetization of all of Google services will be other responsibilities. The ability to take complete ownership of the technical relationship with partners from technical implementation to on-going technology communication is required. Other responsibilities are acting as a liaison between partners and Google Product Management team to ensure follow-up on technical communications. Providing constructive feedback to product managers helps improve product/service.

Assisting partners implement and launch new services and products help Google partners be successful. To enhance Google partner success, performing technical reviews, performance optimizations will continually be needed. Evangelizing new product features, ensuring prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges and business issues as well as building a successful long term relationship with partners is critical. Being the primary technical contact for partners the ability to quickly understand and manage through all business issues and technical challenges is a must.

We are seeking a proactive and organized individual with relevant experience to join our growing team.

Requirements:

* Minimum of a BA/BS Computer Science or related technical degree required.
* 5+ years experience in technical project management, program management, or professional services.
* 3+ years of internet architecture and software development experience
* Strong understanding of XML, HTML, JavaScript and Internet protocols.
* Solid understanding of UNIX/Linux.
* Broad technical knowledge of Internet products and technologies.
* Demonstrated experience in working with broad cross-functional teams.
* Excellent project management skills and attention to details.
* Excellent organizational, analytical, negotiation, and influence skills.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills.
* Understanding of the search engine space and advertising industry is a plus.
* Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks concurrently and deliver results under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work as part of a team.
* A career-minded individual with the desire and ability to grow with the group.
* MBA or MSCS is a plus.
