i am using an IFRAME inside a jsp file..
and i'm using layers also in this the iframe is shown through the layer,,,,how can we bring the iframe under the layer???
i tried including the jsp file using include directive and then i can't refer the javascript function in the main jsp file from the included jsp file..
the application is a compose page as in rediff...and the included jsp is addressbook...the layer i have specified is a onscreen active keyboard layout....
can any on ehelp setting the zindex high that iframe come under layer...
or can i hide the iframe when the layer is called....
how it can be done??

for calling the javascript methods in other frame this is helpful.
and also you can make the layer invisible layername.setvisible = false;
i tried to see the rediff but there is some problem. may be i'll reply again when i go through the rediff mail.
have a nice time

Whether you include the JSP or not is moot. All that matters is what is sent to the client browser as part of the response. Performing a View Source will show you how the page is composed.
In any case, this is a client-side issue so I'm moving it off to the HTML/Javascript forum.
