3. Application Leader for Infrastructure Support - Global Operations
Essential Functions (Responsibilities):
Seasoned Application Leader to provide direction and lead solutions supporting the Corporate Information Services and Global Infrastructure Services organizations, specifically related to Asset Management, Change/Incident ticketing, Monitoring/Metrics and internal billing processes.
* Execute on strategies to translate Functional Customer requirements into tangible technical solutions and services. * Provide leadership and oversight for development teams and outsourced services, ensuring that customer expectations are met. * Partner with CIS Shared Service teams to ensure controllership and adherence to established Application Lifecycle processes (> '> Wing-To-Wing> '> ). * Drive increased leverage of low-cost offshore providers of code development and related technology services to improve overall productivity. * Author and review technical documentation for accuracy.
* BS in Computer Science (or related field) and minimum 10 years relevant experience * Significant experience managing enterprise mission critical applications (10,000+ users) and leading development teams, managing customers, budgeting and controllership. * Fluency in multiple programming languages (minimally C++ and Java) including significant experience with hands-on coding and Application Lifecycle Management processes (e.g. Waterfall or Rapid Application Development). * Deep Understanding of Testing methodologies, including Functionality, Unit, Integration, Regression, Use Case Analysis and Black/White Box testing. * Substantial experience in Application Design, Architecture and Data Modeling. * Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale projects, application rollouts and migrations. * Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex operational issues, under pressure, involving all layers of the technology stack, managed by different groups. * Superior written/verbal communications and demonstrated leadership experience. * Ability to anticipate potential problems, determine and implement solutions. High level of energy and enthusiasm, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
