Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for highly motivated and qualified Software engineer to be a part of Andale's talented Engineering group.
You will work closely with Product Management and Marketing teams in defining and designing the product. You will work with Operations and QA teams in the deploying the service.
Andale's Engineering team is working on building the online-auction industry's most advanced automation tools, data analysis and data-mining web-services. Our tools are used by thousands of merchants who do business on auction sites such as eBay, Yahoo and Amazon.
You will be expected to lead the design and development of new product ideas and features.
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, education, experience and ability required.
o B.Tech. (or equivalent) with 4 yrs relevant experience, or M.Tech. with 3 yrs relevant experience with Web-based applications using a 3-tier architecture
o Must be proficient Java
o Experience with Oracle 8 or 8i, JDBC and ODBC, SQL, PL/SQL is a must.
o A solid design and implementation background either in e-commerce or client/server or distributed object oriented paradigms
o Solid experiences with application servers like Web Logic.
o Must have strong Technical Skills/Depth, Inter-personal skills, Project Management Skills, and oral/written communication skills
