When I call "document.location.href" from my window and fire of a call to the servlet to clean my session variables, why does this action close my current window? I do not want to close the window, is there a way to keep the current window open and call the 'location'?
Any thoughts?
reply greatly appreciated

What do you mean by closing? Is it literaly closing the browser so you have to open a new one? Or do you mean closing as it is loosing your session?
