Upload files virus check

hi all,
I want to upload a file to the server, during which I should do a virus check on the files. How do I do that, i mean how do I virus check a uploaded file

This has to be done on the server side.
Basically you need to enable some software on the server to scan the files and do it o a regular basis. If you search google, there asr some discussions on it.
