I have a website, and I would like to put up a file in word document that can be downloaded or printed from the website. the file is just a friendlier way of showing 8 pages from my website to be printed without too much graphics.
Do I: 1: just put the word doc file on my website with a link to the file, everything will be easy from there? 2: put up the file in black and white HTML no graphics for printer friendly version? but how do I make sure I have the correct format for it to print the way I would like it to?
My website is: Dumbarton kung fu and the area I would like to make the extra word doc for is the syllabus section, which brings together all of the grades, for easier printing so that people can print it out and learn the syllabus, if they want.
Any suggestions would be grateful.

If you put a link on the site, the link will allow the users to download or view it in their browser. I would say keep your html page and have a link saying dowload in word document form.
There is also css rules media: print that can change the properties of the page when it is printed. You may want to look at that too.
Not sure if I actually answered what you asked, Eric

I did put up the word document page, and made a link to the word document, in my browser, it comes up with a dialog box asking to open it with word doc.
