Table width & height

Hi,
(1) Which format ( pixels or percentage) good for table width & height in all browsers?
(2) In one of my html I defined table width & height in pixels. In my laptop monitor, it utilized whole screen. But when I saw same html in other computer, it utilized only half screen. Why? How I can make sure that it will be utilize whole screen in all computers?

Then use percentages.

You are at different resolutions..aka more room on the screen....
