disabling the address bar

I have this requirement of disallowing internet access to users except to my online application.
Is it possible to disable the address bar using javascript?
Or is there any other way?

You can not control the browser like that with JavaScript...

If you are controlling the computer in your own workplace, then there might be some things you can do with IE, but I have no clue what they are...
