Hallo Javaranch personel.
I wonder, if the bulletinboardsystem could be adjusted a little bit in the following sence.
I just posted a reply (JSP) and would like to be informed by email (just the same choice as the person who posts a new thread gets) about answers to the relevant topic.
Possible?
Otherwise put it on the 'wish-list' ;-)

Not possible with the current software. Only the person who starts the thread may receive email notification. Possibly in the future.

JavaRanch just licenses the UBB software, we do not maintain the underlying code and functionality.
We are just volunteers too, with REAL jobs elsewhere. None of us really has spare time to code forum software.

Ok, I see.
I had the idea, because as originator of a thread you get
'options' to choose between ... so I thaught make the same
options available to someone who answers ...
I can live with the system like today because of the
good search facility
I would like to close this thread, all relevant things are spoken out, would someone do it for me?
Thanks for answering anyway.
