Cursor to be defaulted to OverType mode

Hi,

When i come to a new page the default value of the cursor appears to be INSERT. How can i change it be on the OVERTYPE mode?

Anil,
Insert/overwrite is generally an attribute of the software program. As far as I know, browsers also use insert mode for textboxes. If you need overwrite functionality, you could write a javascript function to do it.

You would need to keep track of the character position the user is in and update it everytime a key was pressed.
