I just got a good quistion ?

I have a user that wants to have a drop down box, but sometimes needs to put in new values in the dropdown box....

I know that javascript can add values to a dropdown box, but can i in any way say to a dropdpwn box, that the first field is an input field ???

The user dont want to have a extra field on the screen !

I can not get to the link since some reason my company thinks that the following link is bad, it is another forum

http://www.codingforums.com/

there is a forum there called "Post a JavaScript", in there there should be a topic called type-ahead select/dropdown or something to that effect. That allows you to add new values into the list.
