How to pass child window values to parent window

Hi,

I have a modelwindow which has some values. I want to pass these values to the place(parent) from where it has been called. And this action need to happen when i click a hyperlink.

On click of the hyperlink call a function:

childWinFunc(){

//set all your values in a variables here
then call another function inside this and pass all the values

opener.parentWinFunc(your values);
}

opener object is used to signify which window actually opens up the child window.
