Simple "email a page" functionality?

Hi,

I'd like to add the functionality of "email a page" on my site, but without using "mailto". (I'm assuming people browsing my site may not have mail clients configured).

Can anyone suggest the easiest way to set up a simple form to mail the URL (not the content) of a page to an email address.

Thanks in advance

Except for mailto there's not much you can do on the client side in pure HTML/Javascript. You need to use some server-side capability to send emails.

Search for "Java Mail API" on Google for a start

The JavaMail api is discussed within our Other Java APIs forum. You might find what you seek there.
