Hi all,

I want to set some preferences on an html page which are coming from Java Session. I set these preferences on onload event of the page. My problem is that the page has lots of Images which takes time in loading the page, and consequently it delays the onload event. And for a while it seems that preferences has not been set.

Now my question is that is there anything in javascript or html or JSP which can be triggered before onload event for setting the preferences without delay.

Preferences like?

Why don't you apply these 'preferences' while constructing the page server side?

Only thing that calls before onload is putting the code inline in the page. Therfore it executes when the browser gets to it when the page is rendering.
