permission denied while using ajax

i tried to make a request to google with a search query, but i am getting an "Error: permission denied". Can't i try connecting to an external domain . what should i do while connecting to an external domain.

No, security restrictions prevent that.

As Bear says JavaScript is not able to talk to other doamins without playing around with security levels.
