Hi

I have developed an application in which there are four frames, header,left,right and footer. If any error occurs in the left frame content ex: if session expires/error occurs when I click on left pane then the error is showing only in left pane, cant i show this error in the complete main page? how can i exit from this left frame?

thanks in advance
santhosh

It is only going to show in that one frame since that is the only thing that is posting back. You would have to basically add some JavaScript code to your error page that would replace the frameset.

<script>
parent.window.location.href="yourPage.jsp";
</script>
