Hi all.

I am trying to write an small application in JSP using JSTL.
In that application when i click the next button i should be able to
display a message at the bottom of the same jsp saying "Please Wait while transfering the data".And once the data is transferred the next page should be display automatically. If anybody can provide me the code or the link which has similar feature that will be of great help.

Thanks in advance.
Ramya.

Since that is completely a client-side operation, you'll need to use Javascript on the page to accomplish it.

So I've moved this to the HTML/Javascript forum for further discussion.

Probably the easiest way to accomplish this would be to have a div already resident on the page that contains the message, but initially hidden. When the button is clicked, you would reveal the div before submitting the form or redirecting the page.

The CSS display rule is the one you would use to accompiish the hide/reveal capability.
