This week's book giveaway is in the OCAJP 8 forum. We're giving away four copies of OCA Java SE 8 Programmer I Study Guide and have Edward Finegan & Robert Liguori on-line! See this thread for details.
Just wondering if anyone has any experience with creating a JSP page that makes an AJAX/AHAH call to replace part of the page and loads a cookie to the users browser. I'm thinking that this is not possible since cookies are usually sent in the response header and AHAH-type requests don't fetch a new page (header) .... but I thought I'd ask in case someone knows a way.
The response created as a result of an AJAX request is no different than any other response. So yes, there are headers. What the browser does with those headers may be another matter... [ December 19, 2005: Message edited by: Bear Bibeault ]
