JSP Cookies and AJAX/AHAH

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with creating a JSP page
that makes an AJAX/AHAH call to replace part of the page and loads a
cookie to the users browser. I'm thinking that this is not possible
since cookies are usually sent in the response header and AHAH-type
requests don't fetch a new page (header) .... but I thought I'd ask in
case someone knows a way.

Fun programming etcetera!

Whether the responses are generated via JSP or not is moot so moving this to the HTML/Javascript forum.

The response created as a result of an AJAX request is no different than any other response. So yes, there are headers. What the browser does with those headers may be another matter...
