Do you forsee AJAX and XUL somehow working together in the future?

Thanks,
Michael

I wish! I like XUL and have so from day 1. I even see XUL and Ajax as a complete solution of creating an application that does not care about execution location, modularizes, granularizes, and de-couples the client and server. In short I am a really big fan of it!

Yet we are still dreaming about it? What's the problem? No idea... Maybe its too difficult to develop with? Maybe not enough critical mass? Again no idea, but I wish it were more popular.

Actually here is a nice example of AJAX+XUL application: http://www.faser.net/mab/remote.cfm

It's Amazon's book search, which I think is a very nice example of how these two technologies can work together.

It is used for user interfaces, in XML.
Have a look here :

Which brings another question. Isn't XUL Mozilla only ?

Yup, it is. But I think that if you want to build intranet application or something specific where your audience will not mind Mozilla-only solution XUL is great.
