Hi,

I am working on a web application using jsp. In several jsp pages got a drop down list. Now a requirement came that they want to disable one of the options in that drop down list. Here, my problem is I have done that drop down list using tag library and the data is coming from database, how can I disable in of them disable ? Its a customer list , what i done is when i select a customer name, we actually get is , the id of that particular customer. Am not sure whether am clear. Can anybosy give me a slolution for this ? If its not clear, please feel free to get back.

Thanks,
Joe

I guess you can not disable just few options in drop down box. You can disable entire drop down box but not some options.

(Why would the server return values you can not select in the first place?)

That would be the question I would ask myself.
