JAVA VACANCY

Designs, develops, maintains and documents Java-based programs. Analyzes existing software for adequacy to meet the intended task. Works mostly independently within task guidelines established by management.

Necessary skills and experience:
* Expert level Java programming abilities.
* Multithreaded programming experience is a must.
* Expert level relational database skills, including schema and query design.
* Must be familiar with design patterns and current trends in enterprise software development.
* Ideal candidate is comfortable doing a bit of everything including back-end server development, database query building, etc.
*Experience creating Java applications, applets, servlets, struts, or enterprise Java beans is a plus. Problem-solving experience and troubleshooting of programs written by others preferred.

Nice to have:
* Experience working with Oracle.
* Experience programming in Python/Perl.
* Experience working with open source enterprise application frameworks including professional programming experience with Spring and Hibernate.
* Experience developing enterprise software in a Unix/Linux environment.
* Good Oral Communication
* Good Client Facing Skills
* Good Written Communication
