Position requires a Junior Programmer to develop a web-enabled database application for the US government. Candidate must be a US citizen and have a bachelors degree in computer science or related field. Be a Java developer with at least one year of experience. Individual should be familiar and possess skills necessary for Java Web Application development using Struts/Tiles, JSP, Hibernate, Oracle Application Server, Spring, Message Driven Beans (MDB), Java Messaging Service (JMS) and other tools. Candidate should have a working knowledge of Integrated Development Environment (IDEs) such as NetBeans and IntelliJ along with a familiarity of Oracle, PL/SQL, maven and subversion. Some experience with DocBook and JUnit would be useful. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and use of Microsoft Office Suite is a must.
