Hi all,

I have a template(a html file viz. footer.html) which occurs in many other pages. So how do i include this html content inside another html page say Account.html.

Find out if your server allows for serverside includes (SSI). HTML has no way of adding content from other files other than frames/iframes.

Well, also now you got that xmlHttpRequest - you can use it too.
Another fun way to do it will be to turn all your pages to xml and use XSLT to transform it - the common file will be part of template.
Also, you can use "document.write" to output all that info from common file - this way you put header into js file and use script tag to include it on every page.
