Hi, I have to close a chaild window when the parent window is closed. How to track the window close event?

moreover when the user navigates to other links in the parent window, the chaild window should not close.

Please help me in this regard, thank in advance.

when the parent window goes to a new page or refreshes, you will loose the JavaScript object that created the child window and probably will loose the communication to it.
