I've several job oportunities for working at Sophia-Antipolis, a technology park northwest of Antibes and southwest of Nice, France. Much of the park falls within the commune of Valbonne. Formed in 1970, it houses primarily companies in the fields of computing, electronics, pharmacology and biotechnology. Several institutions of higher learning are also located here, along with the European headquarters of W3C.

A partial list of companies and institutions located in Sophia-Antipolis:

* Amadeus, a travel industry IT company
* Hewlett Packard
* Accenture
* Air France
* CERAM Sophia Antipolis, European School of Business
* CSR plc
* Philips Electronics
* Schneider-electric
* European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI)
* INRIA, Sophia-Antipolis unit
* Labs from cole nationale suprieure des Mines de Paris
* Polytech'Nice Sophia, (Polytechnic school of the University of Nice Sophia-Antipolis).
* European Research Consortium for Informatics and Mathematics (ERCIM), the European home of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C)
* SAP AG, SAP Labs France
* Institut Eurcom
* UDcast
* GROUPE SET language school
* Cadence Design Systems

Sophia-Antipolis also benefits from the close proximity of Thales Alenia Space (Cannes), IBM (La Gaude), and Texas Instruments (Villeneuve-Loubet).

That sounds like a great opportunity to me. I lived in
France for sometime and I would definitely like to work
there. I am sending you my resume now.

J'aime la France.

I know this is a very old post but I'm looking for a job in Sopfia-Antipolis area and this looked just like the post I was looking for.
I'm a java / software developer who's moving to the riviera area in a month or so and I'm looking for a decent permanent job.

Any pointers and help is appreciated!

Write me a mail if you still know any job postings where fluent french is not a requirement.
(I'm good with english, my french is still very poor at the moment).

Welcome to the Ranch

I would suggest you would do well to try other avenues for going to France, as well as here. Go to the top thread in our "Jobs Wanted" forum for more advice.
