To retain on-load features after the request was submitted

Hi,

I have a requirement which is like this.

There is a jsp page which has a .gif content. On page load, the form is submitted. Since the request is no longer with the .jsp page, the gif is immobile. Is there a way by which we can retain the characteristics of the gif and the image remains animated?

Thanks in advance.

As far as I know, once the browser submits a page, it stops any animations on the page. I know of no ways around this.

Btw, a "forward" and a "submit" are not the same thing. I have adjusted the title of this topic to avoid any confusion.
