I am not sure if i this is the right place to ask this question. But here the question ...

We are planning to use AJAX for one of our applications, Which way would be better

1. To write the javascript code directly.
(or)
2. Use toolkit provided by google.

Thanks
Pradeep

The google toolkit is a beta and still pretty rough around the edges last time I checked.

If you have a need now, it's not yet ready for prime-time in my opinion.

Hi Bear Bibeault

Are there any toolkits that are post beta, which you think is better that google's toolkit, because using a toolkit makes it very easy to develop ajax applications.

Thanks

I don't know if I'd call those "toolkits" as much as libraries or frameworks. But yeah, I use Prototype for almost all my Ajax needs.
