The Sr. Java Developer position involves working directly with Product Managers to create and refine business requirements and develop technical solutions.
Division of Development Responsibilities:
-Application Architecture Design 50%
-Production Application Support 20%
Be responsible for design, development, test and support of complex J2EE systems, specifically:
Identify design strategies based on functional specifications Develop Java code Participate in structured code reviews Build and execute unit and system test cases Apply best-practice Java design and development patterns in new development Use the latest J2EE concepts and platforms Provide mentoring to less experienced personnel Produce design documents and full test suite for new and existing functionality. Work with product strategy group to finalize requirements and product definition. Work with other members of the group to determine best design options Be available during alternative hours to provide application support when required. Acts as a department resource/mentor to others
Required Technical Skills: J2EE - 3-4 years J2EE experience, including EJB, CMP, XDoclet, JMS, SOAP/Axis
