I have a html doc C:/Documents and Settings/TonyCavanagh/Desktop/BrowseReason.html

I need to load it into a java program but it should be loaded as a url, is there a way I can fake it, convert the file path into some kind of url path.

Thansk for any help

If the means you are using to load the page is robust enough to deal with protocols other than HTTP, the file protocol url for the file would be:

file:///C:/Documents and Settings/TonyCavanagh/Desktop/BrowseReason.html

And Tony, you've been around the Ranch long enough to know that "total newby question" is a poor excuse for a topic title.
