hi, in my html page i have got two frames frame1 and frame2 . in frame1 i have got a form tag which on clicking the submit button will call a servlet and the servlet will return the result to frame1. instead of frame1 i want the result to be shown on frame2 .is there any chance of doing this.

regards and thanks

Make the form post to frame two by setting the target.

Hi Ashok,
to do as Eric has said, i am writing a sample code for you:
on click of link in Frame1, execute this script->
parent.<FRAME2_name>.location.href = "<your action to call servlet & get response>";

i think this will solve your purpose...
