Hi,

I have a JSP page (filter.jsp) which needs to access a frame (basefrm). filter.jsp is not part of any frameset.

How do I access frame basefrm in filter.jsp ?

I tried doing

but Neither it takes any effect nor it throws any error.

Thanks in advance

If the frameset isn't loaded when filter.jsp is being displayed, what is there to reference?

I understand that If the
frameset isn't loaded

But , I would want to be able to refresh / submit the JSP( grid.jsp) which is part of frame basefrm. And I want to do this when I submit another JSP (filter.jsp) which is not part of the frame basefrm.

I have no idea what the relationship between these pages and frames are. You are going to have to make yourself clearer.
