Sending a post to a servlet

Im calls a function that submits the form and calls a servlet with ahref,
but i want to make a post, im making a get, what can i do in this example to send a post to the servlet ???

You should add method="post" and action="..." attributes to the form declaration, and then remove the document.location.href=... statement. If you need additional parameters to be passed to the server, add hidden fields to the form, and set them using JavaScript.
 
Don't get me started about those stupid light bulbs.
