Hi
I want zero in on a good AJAX framework for my JavaEE applications (mostly e-commerce & portals.
Two frameworks I am considering is DWR and GWT. I want expert opinion on which one is better, both from technical and user experience perspective.
Also, I need to know if there are other frameworks worth considering and why.

GWT provides a lot of functionality out of the box that you can start using immediately. It focuses on easing the development of AJAX applications. It is very nice to be able to debug your entire AJAX application from inside Eclipse! It is also developing a large ecosystem of projects around it - from extension libraries to full blown GUI design environments. I am not too familiar with DWR. Would be nice to get an opinion from a DWR user about the framework.

thanks
