Hi,
I have an chat application which uses AJAX. In this, if I enter a URL in I will have to convert it into a link when it gets displayed in the display area. How do i do this using JavaScript??

Sorry, not getting what you are asking.

But in general, the encodeURI() and encoreURIComponent() methods are used for client-side encoding.
