history.go(-1) gives error

I am having a back functionality in my
. I am using history.go(-1) but i get error on page.
"Warning: Page has Expired".
Is there any other way out to implement the back functionality without error.

Are you using post or get?
If you change your form method from POST to GET then the problem should be fixed, although you may have to rework your code a bit.

why page has been expired without take more time after page opened ?
