JavaScript and IE 7 issue

I have a set of radio buttons. On a particular click I want to hide some of my drop down boxes in the form while I want them to show up on a different click.

On each radio button click i call one JS function. My JS function uses the following snippets

To hide

To show

The problem arises when i hit the same radio button twice. The boxes which ought to remain there disappear on the second click. Now if i click some other button and return the behavior is as expected. Only on two consecutive clicks it behaves abnormally.

This happens only on IE 7. On IE 6 everything works fine.
Any ideas?
