iam using a varible in javascript whose value will be equal to the selected check box values...the values of check box differ from each other..
to differentiate the values iam using "^" character and then appending all check box values..
for the first time it is working fine..
when i click the checkboxes next time...the old values of the checkboxes are not going..i mean the new check box values are appending to the old values...
when i refresh the page it is comming fine...
tell me how to stop this i need only the currently selected check box values...
please help me..

Firstly, please be sure to take the time to compose descriptive subjects for your posts -- read this for more information. I have adjusted this one for you.

Secondly, without code, we can only guess at your problem. Please be sure to show code, and to use UBB code tags when you do.

Finally, why are you using a string with ^ as delimiters rather than an array to store the values.
