Hi All,

I have an issue with validating a form using the dynamic JavaScript. I am using JavaScript component (http://www.phatfusion.net/formvalidation/index.htm) where we are able to validate the all the fields in the form. It working when i test separately, however when i integrated with the application it dont calling the validation function itself.

In application i am using document.form[0].submit(), to submit the form, however in the component they are registered the validation functionality only using onSubmit event. I came to know that if we are using the document.form [0].submit() then the onSubmit() event will not be called. Is there any way to overcome this issue?

OR do you know better Validation component which will take less effort. Please let me know if you can help on this. Thanks a lot

It is sorta covered in the JavaRanch Style Guide.
