Senior Developer Support Engineer Job Description The Developer Support Engineer provides developer level support assistance for all BEA AquaLogic User Interaction (ALUI) and AquaLogic Business Process Management (ALBPM) products and their associated development tools and API's including the Integration Development Kit (EDK) and native API's. Customer and communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast paced environment and manage complex product development issues.
Qualifications/Necessary Skills Proven application development expertise using .NET framework with a strong focus on web application development.
Excellent analytical/troubleshooting and debugging skills.
Willingness and proven ability to learn a wide variety of programming languages, applications and software platforms.
In depth web application development using industry standard Application Server's such as BEA Weblogic, Tomcat, JBoss, IIS, etc
Detailed understanding of Web architecture.
Detailed understanding of object-oriented architectures
Web database experience using Oracle, Sybase, or SQL Server back ends
In depth experience with Unix/Windows Server Operating Systems
Programming proficiency in other languages such as C++, C#, and VB.Net
Minimum Qualifications Candidates must have at least 3 years of work experience developing or supporting web applications.
