send an js array to servlet

can we send a javascript Array to server on submit.
and if so how we can access in servlet?
is Java concept of arrays is same as js ?

Through it into a hidden field

document.formName.hiddenName.value = jsArray.join();

On the server you will get a string seperated with commas. Split it and you have your array.
