$.getJSON() bugs in jQuery 1.2.2

Tony informed me that the new jQuery 1.2.2 is having a few bugs relating to $.getJSON(). He advised doing $.ajax() and then an eval{} when using 1.2.2. Is the speed increase in 1.2.2 worth the trouble of doing it the old way or should I just use the older version until they get the kinks worked out of the new one?

If they're having issues with 1.2.2 (I'll see if I can get that corroborated) I'd advise just using 1.2.1 for now. I would not punt back to doing eval().

Are you using absolute URLs for you getJSON() call?
